Lakhdar Lakhdar-Hamina
Lakhdar Lakhdar-Hamina: a childhood on the move between Algiers, Geneva, Paris, and later Brussels. Hooked on cinema from the start, he studied film language and analysis, which led him to work on short films, features, and documentaries. This gave him a sharp eye and a keen sense of light and composition. In 1995, he took over a hotel in Brussels and turned it into a buzzing, Berlin-inspired hotspot: Le Café de l’Hôtel. A classic bistro on the ground floor, a speakeasy upstairs, complete with music selectors. Since then, he has launched about twenty concepts in Brussels, blending his early influences with so many different styles: Italian, Asian, Mexican, French, Belgian, New Yorker, fine dining, and beyond.
Lauriane De Paoli
Lauriane De Paoli joined the atelier in 2021, helping it grow and innovate. As coordinator of the Master in Food Design at ArBA-Esa in Brussels, Lauriane is celebrated for her versatility and creative spirit.
She excels in interior design and project development, with a strong focus on the hospitality industry. With a first career in fashion and expertise in project management, she brings a fresh perspective to Wine Food & Cinema.
